how heavy are generators

10 Dec 2009

There are so many different kinds of diesel generator, petrol generators and electric generators out there that their size varies massively on the kind of job they are required for and the amount of power they can knock out. There are some huge generators, like the type to have as a back up for a hospital, say, that can only be moved via articulated truck. Then there are little portable ‘gennies’ that are used to power handtools on a building site, that weigh a few kilograms. A lot of the most common generators come on wheels, so moving them around isn’t too much of a problem. Speak to our generator experts if you have any questions on 08000 82 80 83.
